Fly from London Heathrow to Cochin

DAY 02      COCHIN
Arrive Cochin in the morning
Check in at Brunton Boatyard for one night
Room booked from previous night for immediate occupancy.
Day is at leisure
Evening enjoy a sunset cruise to see Chinese fishing nets.
(The boats have safety rings but no life jackets)

DAY 03      COCHIN
Enjoy a sightseeing of the town in the morning.
(This will include the Synagogue, Dutch Palace and St Francis' Church)
Afternoon is at leisure
In the evening enjoy a Kathakali dance performance, the traditional dance-form of Kerala.
(Suggest arrive early to see make-up being put on by the artists)

DAY 04      COCHIN - PERIYAR
Drive to Periyar
Check in at Spice Village for one night
Afternoon enjoy a boat-ride on Lake Periyar to spot herds of wild elephants.

DAY 05      PERIYAR
Morning enjoy a boat-ride on Lake Periyar to spot herds of wild elephants.
Afternoon is at leisure

DAY 06      PERIYAR - KUMARAKOM
Drive to Kumarakom
Check in at Coconut Lagoon for two nights
Rest of the day is at leisure

DAY 07      KUMARAKOM
Enjoy a backwaters cruise in the morning
Afternoon is at leisure

DAY 08      KUMARAKOM - KOVALAM
Drive to Kovalam
Check in at Travancore Heritage for one night
Rest of the day is at leisure

DAY 09      KOVALAM - TRIVANDRUM - LONDON
Transfer to Trivandrum international airport for flight back to London
