Met on arrival and driven to Mahabalipuram

DAY 03      MAHABALIPURAM
Enjoy a visit to Mahabalipuram in the morning
(To see the 10th century Pallava Dynasty Shore Temple & Rock carvings)
Afternoon is at leisure

DAY 04      MAHABALIPURAM - COIMBATORE
Transfer to Chennai Egmore rail station to board the train to Coimbatore
Met on arrival and transferred to your hotel Residency for one night

DAY 05      COMBATORE - COONOOR
Early start foothills at Mettupalayam to board the Toy Train to Coonoor
Check in at Taj Garden Retreat for two nights
Rest of the day is at leisure to explore the Sims Park

DAY 06      COONOOR
Visit the nearby town of Ooty and the take the Toy Train back to Coonoor in the afternoon

DAY 07      COONOOR - MYSORE
Drive to Mysore
Check in at your hotel Green for two nights
Visit Chamundi Hill, Nandi Bull and the colourful Devaraja Market in the afternoon

DAY 08      MYSORE
Enjoy an excursion to Somnathpur, the famous Hoysala Temple, Srirangapattanam and the Ranganathitto Bird Sanctuary.

DAY 09      MYSORE - NAGARHOLE
Visit the Mysore Palace in the morning
Later drive to Nagarhole
Check in at Kabini River Lodge for two nights
Enjoy afternoon game drive by jeep

DAY 10      NAGARHOLE
Enjoy morning & afternoon jungle activities by jeep/elephant

DAY 11      NAGARHOLE - SULTAN'S BATTERY
Enjoy morning game drive by jeep/elephant
Later drive to Sultan's Battery
Check in Tranquil for two nights

DAY 12      SULTAN'S BATTERY
Day is at leisure

DAY 13      SULTAN'S BATTERY - TELLICHERRY
Drive to Tellicherry
Check in at Aiysha Manzil for one night
Rest of the day is at leisure to explore the town

DAY 14      TELLICHERRY - COCHN
Transfer to Tellicherry rail station to board the train to Cochin
Met on arrival and transferred to Brunton Boatyard for two nights
Evening enjoy a sunset cruise to see Chinese fishing nets.
(The boats have safety rings but no life jackets)

DAY 15     COCHIN
Enjoy a sightseeing of the town in the morning.
(This will include the Synagogue, Dutch Palace and St Francis' Church)
Afternoon is at leisure In the evening enjoy a Kathakali dance performance, the traditional dance-form of Kerala.

DAY 16      COCHIN - LONDON
Transfer to Cochin airport for flight back to London
